Major network outage for the entire state, North and South, to upgrade Transit Ring Routers and circuits

Starting at midnight on Saturday, June 28, and continuing into the early hours of Sunday, June 29, WVNET will migrate its Transit Ring to new routers and 100Gbps circuits.

This work will impact all four Transit Ring locations: Charleston, Morgantown, Columbus, OH, and Pittsburgh, PA.

A complete network outage is expected to last less than 30 minutes, though some customers may experience longer disruptions. A 4-hour maintenance window has been reserved to allow for thorough testing.
