| Details | The Charleston NCS router firmware was updated which resulted in an outage that lasted 11 minutes (21:46 to 21:57).
Upgrade was successful with no problems noted. Please contact the WVNET NOC if you have any issues you believe are related to this upgrade. WVNET will be upgrading firmware in the Charleston Transit Ring router and Firewalls on Thursday May 18 from 9-10 PM.
WVNET will be upgrading firmware in its Charleston Transit Ring router and Firewalls the evening of Thursday June 18th between 9-10PM.
While each outage should only take approximately 15 minutes, the entire window is reserved. All customers connected to the WVNET Charleston POP in the Capitol Complex Building 6 will be affected, as well as any customers in the North attempting to access those resources. Our Network Operations Center (NOC) is available 24/7 to provide support before, during, and after the migration. If you experience service issues, have questions about the process, or need additional information, please contact us. If you haven’t joined the notification list on that status page, we recommend you do so to keep up-to-date on the status of all WVNET services.
