Oracle support reports they have corrected the network issue affecting multiple Oracle Cloud services in their Ashburn region. WVNET has no seen any further drops since our last update.

At approximately 5:50 PM the tunnels came back up and traffic is now passing between WVNET and our Oracle Cloud tenancy. We’re still waiting on official word from Oracle Support but there have been no further drops since the tunnels came up.

Oracle support has confirmed an issue on the Oracle Cloud side. Their engineer team is working to resolve it.

We are still looking into the connectivity issues. We have reached out to Oracle support for assistance as well.
A routing change was made to attempt to hopefully fix Banner logins while we fix the primary issue.

WVNET is currently experiencing an issue with our connectivity between our datacenters and our Oracle Cloud tenancy. Our team is investigating the issue. This should only affect services that come into WVNET’s datacenter and out to Oracle. This would also affect Banner logins for hosted institutions that have their logins for Banner hosted by WVNET.
