A new status update will be created after closing this one.
Starting at midnight on Saturday, July 12, and continuing into the early hours of Sunday, July 13, WVNET will migrate its Transit Ring to new routers and 100Gbps circuits. This work was previously scheduled for June 28-29.
This work will impact all four Transit Ring locations: Charleston, Morgantown, Columbus, OH, and Pittsburgh, PA.
A complete network outage is expected to last less than 30 minutes, though some customers may experience longer disruptions. A 4-hour maintenance window has been reserved to allow for thorough testing.
Our Network Operations Center (NOC) is available 24/7 to support you before, during, and after this migration. If you experience any service issues, have questions about the process, or need more information, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We appreciate your partnership and patience as we work to bring you improved performance and reliability with our new 100Gbps infrastructure.
